Rough day at the Turner house. Reid had to put Charlene, his 19 year old cat, to sleep this evening. At least it was a warm day, so she got to spend some time in her favorite spot: on the deck in the sunlight. The warm humidity was followed by thunderstorms tonight (complete with hail). If the storms don't keep us awake, I think we will all sleep a little better knowing that Charlene isn't in pain anymore. Always difficult to lose a treasured family pet.
